EVERYBODY, literally EVERYBODY knows New York or at least believes he does. But how many have actually walked the same streets that Woody Allen has been filming on, for instance? And did you know that all the smoky cafes packed with culture are all gone.

Still, the City of Cities may be full of surprises as it was int the late 1960's when I bought this painting from a "junkie" as you might call him. He was probably just in the need for a morning bottle of whisky, even though already drunk.

"Just give me fifffty bucks for this shit. My pal Andy painted it and is not at home now , giveme twenty-five".

Well, it was a bargain. Whoever painted it did a decent job. The use of colours is vivid, fresh and I remember seeing something likee this years similar later. You may not like it but I do!
